Dermal fillers are soft and gel-like, which helps keep skin supple and hydrated when injected. Dermal filler results are not permanent and last approximately six to twelve months before the body breaks down and metabolizes the substance.

During your appointment, you and your Glow Wellness injector will discuss the appropriate treatment to achieve your goals. If you are a candidate for filler injections, the injections may occur on the same day. You may be given a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area before injection for added comfort. Your Glow Wellness provider will strategically inject a particular amount of filler under the skin. Most patients report that dermal filler injections feel like a pinch and discomfort dissipates quickly.

Results are typically visible immediately after receiving injections.

Swelling and mild bruising may appear for up to one week. You can resume your regular activities directly after treatment, but you should avoid exercising for 24 hours to avoid excessive swelling.
