WHAT IS Neurotoxin?
Botulinum toxin, which comes in the form of a protein is injected into the facial muscles blocks the transmitters between the nerves that innervate the muscle.
Benefits of Botox / Neurotoxin?
Preventing the dynamic motion that causes wrinkles in the skin will stop. The skin then starts to smooth out, and in approximately three to ten days after treatment, the skin above those muscles becomes nice and smooth.
What is Botox/Dysport?
Botox treats and prevents wrinkles, forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet.
When can I see Botox/Dysport results?
You will see results within 5-7 days and complete optimization after 14 days.
How long do results last?
Results may vary, but on average, they will last 3-6 months.
How many treatments will I need?
One single treatment is needed to show results. The results last three months, and treatment may continue on this timeline.

What is the difference between filler and injectable neurotoxins?
Filler (Juvéderm) and injectable neurotoxins (Botox/Dysport) work differently to correct signs of aging. Filler works to plump and add volume and “fill in” the lips, cheeks, and forehead, while injectable neurotoxins work to relax the muscles that cause signs of aging, typically between and around the eyes.
Are there side effects with filler and injectable neurotoxins?
Redness, bruising, or swelling is individual to each client. In most cases, these symptoms resolve within two weeks. Although rare, please call our office if you do not see improvement by this time or if your symptoms worsen.
